This cue tip corrector is shaped like a pencil sharpener and works in the same way. By turning the shaft, the device will remove any unwanted overlapping that occurs when the tip starts to mushroom. Also excellent when starting to shape a tip to take the first edge of to make it rounder or domed.

I use this on a angle to get the initial domed shape on laminated tips mainly or one’s that have a poor dome shape.
